Iller Bankası building was our final assignment and this assignment was important because it was like a final exam. We had trouble during drawing because there is different type of plan about building. Iller Bankasi building was restored for this reason we had to combine and take into consideration two type of plan.
This drawing was our midterm and it was hardly to draw because they gave us a plan which belongs to Villa Savoye. Plan was hard to understand but fortunately, we followed to grid and found clues and draw this building from three side.
In this assignment, we drew our models with axonometric way and we get experiences about axonometric drawing. We could prefer 90-60degree or 45-45degree and I preferred 45-45degree.
We took two photos from book. One of them was building and the other one was text. We did collage with both printed photos and this is digital collage and we used some technic and rule.
This is my first project which is abstraction of Royal National Theatre building. I used vertical lines and different number of pencils. It was challenging because i gave importance to lights and shadows. This project took several days to finish.
